er is a great time. It's so warm out and it's also a great time to see a lot of stuff, like people. While the neighborhood kids are around, the summer is a little quieter in the morning and in the afternoon 'cause all the kids at the school are gone. I guess they're having an "amazing summer".
These are a couple of my friends, Hope and Omar. They are really gentle with me. I enjoy their conversations. They have some interesting thoughts on life.
Always spending my day outside makes me wonder what it would be like elsewhere. As I look inside a house, it does look more comfortable than my green electric box. It especially looks a lot warmer inside. The metal I sit on all day is pretty cold. It would be nice to be inside someday. Let me in!!!
It's a sad day. My friend "Red" ran into the window while chasing a bug. She thought she could just fly right though, but glass is pretty hard. She pretty much died right away. It's good to know she didn't suffer too long. We'll remember you "Red". It's good to know you're flying above the skies in heaven now.
I just made a friend. His name is Asparagus. He's green too. He hangs out in these bushes and just loves to watch the chipmunks come out in the morning. I think we'll have some interesting things to talk about. Asparagus, or "Gus" as I call him, has a different view of the neighborhood. Looking down from the big hill, he can see me on my electric box as well as the whole street.
It's really great being me, Celery. Most of my life is spent right here on the Ameren electric box. It's greenish, just like me. Nature does have a unique way of blending creatures in with their environment. It's just great o sit here some days looking at all the activity. I guess you can say I have "neighbor-vision". If you're in the neighborhood sometime stop by and say HI to me Celery.
